About

As a collector of antique & vintage items for 30 years, I’ve always been drawn to the history behind these treasures.  Anna’s Treasures is named after my grandmother Anna Minna Nelson, who was born in 1900 in St. Paul, Minnesota.  She lived with my family for 20 years in New Jersey,  reaching a milestone of 98 years old.

I can still picture the dishes, tablecloths, pictures and furniture in my grandparents’ home from the many times we visited in the early 1970s, driving to St. Paul from my family’s home in Evanston, Illinois. I have warm memories of reading books with Grandma, learning to play Cribbage with my Grandpa, and eating hearty Scandinavian meals at Christmas.
That’s why I started Anna’s Treasures in 2018: to sell antiques and collectibles to people who share a love for items from our collective past.
Take a stroll through the website and find an assortment of antique furniture, vintage tins, bottles & kitchenware, antique artwork, retro-style holiday decorations, and farmhouse & rustic decor.  An intricately carved oak sideboard — who might have displayed their fine china inside in 1890? A vintage coffee tin — what did a kitchen look like in 1940? A wicker-wrapped bottle from the 1909 World’s Fair — who bought it, proudly displaying it in their bookcase?
You’ll also find my unique beach-themed artwork and hand-crafted centerpieces. I find much of my inspiration here in Cape May NJ, which is near Capt Scraps Attic — where I opened a booth.
Here’s to filling your home with past treasures and creating new memories with your loved ones.
